The Revised Gold Star Program and Examples of MTMDSS Across Tiers
Presenter: Sam Vidal, Michelle Clarke, Nick Abel, and Danielle Duarte
Learn about the new and improved Indiana Gold Star process for building a comprehensive school counseling program that serves all students. This new program is called, “Carrying the Torch to Student Success,” and is a free service from the Indiana Department of Education. We will give a program overview, share the benefits of pursuing this for your school, and cover how you can also earn RAMP status through the system.
The second portion of this session will provide examples of MTMDSS interventions and strategies across tiers for all developmental levels. Attendees will walk away with practical ideas to implement for their students.
