  • I have found  the “Fiske Guide to Colleges” to be extremely helpful, and accurate in terms of describing a particular institution, and the overall campus culture.  I particularly appreciate the section on the international universities.  Many well known colleges are highlighted.  Unfortunately, not all colleges have a description in this book.
