CHE is partnering with INvestEd to provide up to the minute FAFSA filing updates and time to answer questions student and parents/guardians may still have about filing.

We are trying something a little different: we are offering a mid-day in addition to our evening livestream to see if we can catch parents and guardians on a lunch break if they work first shift, or before they head to work if they work second or third shift hours at their job. This could also be something that teachers or school staff can listen in to with a class or on their own to submit their questions!
We ask that you share this on your school’s socials, parent/guardian school Facebook pages, or through emails to parent/guardians on Monday as a last-minute push for the March 11’s stream with the reminder that the FAFSA is required for graduating students (opt out provisions available). We will send a reminder out before the April 8th livestream.
As a reminder, you can find your school’s current filing status here on our FAFSA Completion Dashboard. The state goal is 60% filing, and we have a ways to go to hit that – so please don’t hesitate to connect with our Outreach Coordinators to come in to create FSA IDs with your seniors during the school day or for a FAFSA filing event for students/parents/guardians to finish that FAFSA. 39 days left to file!
