INACAC: ICON Drive-In Conference

For years, the Indiana Cultural Opportunity Network (ICON) program has served admissions and school counseling professionals in areas of student equity, access, and success with great effect. ICON alumni enhanced their knowledge of student needs and continue to practice breaking down barriers to higher education within Indiana and beyond.
This year, the Inclusion, Access, and Success (IAS) Committee is excited to re-imagine ICON for 2024-25. We are proud to introduce a new FREE event, titled ICON Drive-In Conference.
The ICON Drive-In Conference will offer a unique opportunity for professionals to gain insights and strategies that better support diverse student populations in their journey to obtain a higher education. Participants will engage in expert-led sessions on critical issues in college admissions, including FAFSA guidance and impact of the Supreme Court decision on race-based admissions in Indiana. Event highlights will also include:
- Discussions on current challenges in Indiana college enrollment
- Practical tools for supporting diverse high school students
- Student and professional panels
- Tours of Indiana University Indianapolis
- Complimentary lunch provided
