  • (Update from the Indiana Department of Education for 5/5/23):Partnership to Support High Ability Coordinators  – IDOE has partnered with Ball State University and East Central Educational Service Center to provide an opportunity for active district High Ability Coordinators. This program will include paid tuition, university fees, books for a three-credit-hour graduate-level course focused on high ability learners, one-on-one support sessions during the 2023-2024 school year, and stipends for the creation of high ability resources. Detailed information is included in this program description. Superintendents can recommend a candidate through the registration process by completing page 3 of the application. This opportunity is limited to 20 seats for the introduction course and 20 seats for the advanced course. Applications are due by Monday, May 8. To ensure topics, speakers, and timing for these webinars reflect the needs of high ability coordinators and educators, please complete this survey.
