• (from ASCA, March 2023): The United States Marine Corps invites you to apply to attend the Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) Educators’ Workshop. Educators and Marines both share a passion for transforming young people into high-caliber citizens. Our passion for integrity, strong moral character, education, and developing the individual Marine/student is at the core of both of our organizations. The workshop is designed to provide educators from colleges and universities across the nation the opportunity to see firsthand how highly-qualified college students are recruited, screened, and developed into Marine officers. We will provide insight into our Marine officer training process, benefits, career opportunities and service within the Marine Corps. Each day focuses on different aspects of the Marine Corps and no question is off-limits.Events include:
    • Education center tours
    • Q&A briefs with Marines at various ranks and in multiple career fields
    • Boarding a military aircraft
    • Marksmanship training
    • Eating lunch with recruits in training
    • Team-building events
    • Optional participation in a Marine Corps fitness test

If selected, you will receive valuable tools and information to enhance your leadership skills, which will allow you to better connect with your students, positively influencing their overall performance and character.
