FERPA

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) primary purpose is to ensure parents’ have the right to view their children’s education records, to seek to amend inaccurate information in the records and to decide, within certain parameters, which entities or individuals can access their child’s records.

E-Transcripts

During the 2013 legislative session, the General Assembly passed HEA 1341, and the Governor signed P.L. 111 - 2013 into law. This law establishes the Indiana e-transcript program to allow students attending accredited schools to request that their transcript be transmitted electronically. Below is an overview of these requirements.

Elementary School Career Awareness is to introduce K-5 students to the many types of careers that exist, different working environments, foster a positive attitude toward work and to help students understand the connection between academics and their future career
