Teacher Appreciation Grant (TAG)

Eligible local education agencies and their qualified teachers receive a “Teacher Appreciation Grant” that is be paid to teachers rated effective and highly effective as bonuses. Therapy Dogs

Therapy dogs are canines that are trained to provide comfort and affection to people in retirement homes, nursing homes, hospices, schools, hospitals and disaster areas, and to people with autism. Therapy Dogs work in animal-assisted activities and animal-assisted therapy, typically alongside their owner/handlers who consider them the canines to be their personal pets.

Today's school counselors are vital members of the education team. Fundraising

Many schools conduct fundraisers for a variety of functions and needs which fall outside of what the school budget is able to cover.  Many school clubs also hold fundraisers to help pay for club expenses and needs. 

Indiana Career Ready

Indiana Career Ready  is an initiative of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development; it also provides teachers and counselors tools and resources to help encourage students to make informed career decisions.

Advance College Project (ACP)

Advance College Project (ACP) is a dual-enrollment partnership between Indiana University and select high schools throughout Indiana and surrounding states

Eyeglasses

Children in primary and secondary school often find themselves in need of eye glasses.  Annual vision screenings can be helpful in indicating which children may need further screening or an eye exam.
